THE BRIEF:
To launch Australian based jewellery brand Deja Marc to the media and share its brand’s story via a media event (a core component of the launch strategy).
THE OUTCOME:
GQPR worked alongside Deja Marc to execute a top tier media breakfast event to celebrate the brand’s launch. To tie in with the brand name, which is inspired by the Spanish phrase meaning “to leave your mark”, guests were invited to bring someone along who had personally left their mark on them.
This initial launch event, coupled with media release distribution and targeted pitching has resulted in extensive coverage across traditional media channels with an audience reach of 56 million, including TV coverage on TODAY as part of their Mother’s Day gifting segment. Additional publication highlights include SMH, The Australian, The Daily Telegraph, Good Weekend, WHO, New Idea, Popsugar, Marie Claire, ELLE Better Homes & Gardens, Mamamia & Hello May, Marie Claire and The Australian Women’s Weekly.
